This the first edition of In My Mailbox, a meme hosted by The Story Siren.
I received a bunch of promo codes through Kobo last week for participating in their trivia contest so I treated myself to some books on my wishlist:
Something Fierce ~ Carmin Aguirre
Visit Sunny Chernobyl: And Other Adventures in the World’s Most Polluted Places ~ Andrew Blackwell
I also wanted to mention two NetGalley titles I look forward to reading:
Sussex Drive ~ Linda Svendsen (just started this!)
Operation Napoleon ~ Arnaldur Indridason
AND I wanted to send a big thank you for Thirty Four Flavours blog and the nice people at Sara Happ for sending me a tub of the most amazing lip scrub:
I didn’t think much of the scrub in the summer but now that my lips are crazy dry from the winter wind and central heating, it’s become a daily ritual. Sara Happ’s lip scrub has none of that paraben nonsense and still manages to moisturize your lips while buffing off dead skin.
The only problem is that it smells so good, you’ll be tempted to eat it.
