I have this fascination with whales. And it started with a intro to marine biology course I took in university as an easy elective. I spent a whole semester learning about the organs of walruses, drawing diagrams of narwhal testicles and watching a video of my instructor scuba diving with manatees.
But whales captivated me because so little are known about them. They travel all the oceans and once in a blue two will actually coincidentally meet up to produce a baby whale. It’s hopelessly romantic. And they’re hopelessly endangered as their numbers dwindle due to illegal poaching, legal murder and water pollution.
