I was so sad to hear that Maurice Sendak, the author and illustrator of Where the Wild Things Are died early Tuesday. I remember leafing through this book countless times before I could read.
“I write books that seem more suitable for children, and that’s OK with me. They are a better audience and tougher critics. Kids tell you what they think, not what they think they should think” — Maurice Sendak (1928 – 2012)

‘Max put on his wolf suit’ for the last time. What a loss.
